About us

I'll be honest with you: this is a new venture. I believe in this product, and that is why I wanted to make it available to the Irish public.

I am a qualified pharmacist, born and trained in New Zealand, and I moved to Ireland with my husband and two children in 2006. I have worked in pharmacy for over twenty years, three and a half of that in Scotland, and the last three here in Ireland.

One of my colleagues in New Zealand introduced me to the concept of transdermal magnesium, and so I decided to start a business up selling it, because I think it is a fabulous product.

Maiden Enterprises is my registered business name, and I am juggling this start up business with my day time job as manager of a pharmacy in Cork. That won't affect the service you receive: my commitment is to make sure you get the best service possible.

Magnesium is an interesting mineral: the effects of magnesium deficiency are well known, but because it causes diarrrhoea when swallowed, many people who might benefit from it are reluctant to take it. Having a transdermal form of magnesium which is applied, is well absorbed, and avoids the diarrhoea that can occur when taking it in tablet form, seemed to me the perfect product.
